Mais uma do miradouro de Santa Cruz, com o A321 da TAP CS-TJO a chegar de Lisboa, na final para a 05 Curiosamente....parece que ainda não tinha publicado nenhuma foto do CS-TJO por cá...
Condor A321 D-ATCF arriving from Frankfurt, on runway 05, with Santa Maria ship, on the back... first pics I publish of this reg.. An overview of runway 05 treshold as D-ATCF is lining up for the return flight to Frankfurt...
Um par de registos do mais recente aparelho de transporte da Força Aérea Portuguesa, o KC-390 26901, operado pela Esq.506 - Rinocerontes, a chegar de Lisboa, esta semana.
Condor made its last 767 flight yesterday. The flight was carried by D-ABUK, from Havana to Frankfurt. At Madeira we only got their B767 sporadically and I never got D-ABUK but, still didn't to miss the oportunity to highlight the moment with one of my favourite shots of a Condor 767...D-ABUZ, also departing to Frankfurt, back in 2012.
Traffic of the year, until now...not doubt... Royal Canadian Air Force C-17A 177705 at Madeira, today. Arrived from Gibraltar and, after less than 2 hours, departed to Trenton. It's the 3rd C-17 at Madeira and the first Canadian one (the others...one from USAF, HERE , and another from RAF) Unfortunatelly, couldn't manage to get the arrival and made just a couple of quick photos as it was on the procedures of starting the engines.
This week decided to try a new (for me) spot..a sightseeing spot that I haven't been to since, probably when I was a kid.... Nice memories and also some nice perspectives to the planes on final to runway 05. With some cross-winds it can give some interesting catches... British Airways A320NEO G-TTNI on final to 05, arriving from London, after diverting to Porto Santo.
Da noite da famosa chegada da Polícia Judiciária, no KC da FAP ( AQUI ), mais um registo noturno, que ainda não tinha publicado CS-TVF a finalizar o push-back, para o regresso a Lisboa... Mais uma deste dia, AQUI
Today we got a Qatar Executive Gulfstream G650ER at Madeira. Pretty sure it was the first time we got Qatar "colors" here... A7-CGC made a technical stop for refueling. Despite the sunny day at Funchal, the weather at Santa Cruz (the airport) was quite wintery with rain, wind and cold... Due to out of limits wind it had to abort the first approach and went by Porto Santo, for some sighseeing, before returning for landing, with the winds already in limits (but still with a nice banking on short final...) With that kind of weather, didn't wait for the departure...
